ISO recently released the 2014 Survey of Certifications, an annual study showing the number of certificates issued to management systems standards in the previous calendar year.
The latest ISO survey indicates more than 1.6 million certificates were issued worldwide in 2014 and there was a continuing trend of moderate growth in the number of certificates for almost all the standards covered by the survey. The highest growth rates were seen in ISO 50001 or energy management systems and ISO 22000 for food safety management systems. ISO 22301, the business continuity standard, was included in the survey for the first time.
The survey also covers ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, ISO 13485, and ISO/TS 16949. You can read the executive summary and find a link to download complete survey results free of charge on ISO's website.
